On this website you will be able to study key math subjects
that are tested on the Connecticut Mastery Tests. These subjects
were selected by Stamford Public Schools as ones important
for your student to master.
When you click on the subject on the left – you will
go to that math subject’s tutorial. This tutorial begins
with an explanation of what the subject is about.
You will see buttons to click on so that your student can:
Watch
informative videos that are taught by third grade teachers
in English and Spanish.
Play
internet-based math games that give students practice in fun
and engaging ways.
Take
an interactive test that will help students know what they
need to study.
Print
worksheets so students can practice the same kinds of questions
they will find on the CMTs.

In addition to our web site, materials have been made available
to classroom teachers and community outreach centers We are
also proud to announce that the Ferguson Library and its branches
now offer our multi-media kits which contain videos in English
and Spanish, worksheets and CD ROMs. Our Spanish and English
programming continues to run daily on Cablevision’s
Channel 78.

Tech Talk: To really use this site effectively,
you should have a high speed internet connection like cable
or DSL. Even if you do not, you can still download the worksheets,
play the web games, take the tests and read the explanations.
